2010 G37 cargo net too short?

Mine looks different from the picture on the Infiniti website.
Is this too short?

Try taking the bottom and putting it on top.

Flip it over....I haven't looked at mine in a while...but I think the bottom side is supposed to be shorter.

Thanks, Mattster.
The top and the bottom are the same size though, and the opening is already at the top

Now you have me wondering what mine looks like. I saw it this weekend and it certainly didn't look as tight as yours does. And I'm positive mine doesn't have an "opening" at the top...it's just a net to separate a little area from the rest of the trunk.

Maybe you have the wrong net?

Your net looks right. They are pretty tight when brand new. I kept mine from when I had my 07G35X. It's not as tight as it used to be.
It rained yesterday so don't be hard on me for the dust spots. She'll be shined up before the day is out. Looks like a little bird got her this morning too.

K. So I was positive that I didn't have the "pocket" in mine...but I didn't notice it until I actually went looking for it.

However, my net isn't set up quite like you two are. It literally separates 6" from the trunk opening from the rest of the trunk...it's not strung up right against the opening like yours. Also...mine appears to be WAY more loose than both of those.

Idk.

Mattster, Coupe has a different sized trunk than the sedan, wouldn't suprise me if the net was different. The sedan's is a lot deeper because the exhaust is routed differently.

My 2011 goes clear across. I took the damn thing out because it was so annoying. The "holes" in the netting are way too large and things were constantly getting tangled in there.

I'm about to take mine out as well. It simply gets in the way when I try to put something in the trunk.

Design of the net on my old '06 350zr was different - and better. It was flat on the trunk floor - basically keeping things from rolling around back there...

I have never taken mine out of the package yet. I guess one day I might have to open it and try it out.
