Infiniti won't provide free loaner car for me - bought in Sep 2011

LOL @ G25. The deterrent to people asking for courtesy vehicles. Well, the reason I asked was my wife is interested in the FX35 and was wondering if they ever hand those out. Nice way to get a test drive without the sales pressure.

And let's face it, kids... "Free" Oil Changes are nothing of the kind. Sales & Marketing see it as a promotional gimmick, whereas Service sees it as a PITA. The only loss-lead it serves is towards the ridiculous rip-off of regular maintenance charges.
As for how consumers see it, that depends entirely on the gullibility (or experience) of the owner.

My Audi dealer has an Enterprise on site. Their loaners are serviced through them, and they USUALLY will give you an A4. However, if they run out, you will get an ordinary rental car (i.e. Chevy Impala, Mazda 6, etc...) But as long as I don't have to get shuttled to an offsite rental car place and wait, it doesn't really matter. I usually drive the car back home or work and it just gets parked anyways.

I bought two G's from two different dealers in NJ and both wont normally give you a loaner for an oil change unless you push the issue. I tend to drop my car off after work and pick it up the following day after work, which may be why I can negotiate the loaner. My biggest complaint now is that they no longer give Infiniti loaners and have switched to Nissan Altimas, which suck.

I dont know of a dealership that would give you a loaner for an oil change. I know of places that wouldnt mind having someone drive you to say, mcdonalds to grab a bite, while youre waiting a measly 60 minutes for an oil change. Think of it as a shuttle service lol.
Service and maintenance, yeah thats another story...
