G37x Sedan - Need New Mod Suggestions!

Hey Everyone,

Currently, I have a 2011 G37x sedan with the following mods:

Black Betty GK V.2
R2C Intake
Ark True Grip Catback
GTR Tail Lights
OSRAM CBI HID's (Europe only)
Roof Spoiler
Blacked out Badges
Full Interior LED Swap
2500k Fog Lights
15% Tint
Platidipped Wheels (I know lol)
Blacked out Grille with matching mt fuji

Now, I have been debating what route I should go next with my ride. I was looking at either test pipes or HFC's of some kind but am cautious about getting them with my catback since it may sound raspy. Anyone with my exhaust and hfcs/tp's care to chime in on how it sounds with either of those?

I was going to get rims/drop but am saving that for next year. Going with Work Gnosis GS-4 or Volk GT-30's, not sure what I'd want yet with Swift Springs (more than likely).

I'd want to get my headlights done as well, but dont want to use my stock ones, since my car is a lease (Returns July 2014). I can get new headlights for $1200 brand new, plus about 700$ in work I'd want to get done from 180 Custom. Not sure what to do on this since it would be pretty costly.

I was looking at Sway Bars as well but heard that understeer is preffered with AWD models and have read of people spinning out with them on...Not sure if that's just a fluke or what...Anyone care to address this?

Also, looking to upgrade my fogs to HID's...not sure if any wires will have to be cut to do this? Can anyone confirm? If not, which is a good company to buy fogs from, would want 2500k/3000k bulbs.

I was looking at AutoKit X for the valience but not sure how it would look on my car...what do you guys think about this? I dont want my car to look too crazy aesthetically.

Any other suggestions are welcome!

Go ahead and grab some sways. I run the exact same ride as you, and have never spun out because of them. The Hotchkis sways have 2 (front) and 3 (rear) levels of adjustment, so you can set the sway reduction for your style of driving.

The other thing I would suggest is blacking out the chrome trim around your windows with some vinyl! And plastidipping your fog housings (since u like that stuff :-) ). That will help tie your look together. Have you considered painting parts instead, and selling/ trading them at the end of your lease?

Thanks for the reply!

I was looking to black out the fog housing but have no idea how I would go about doing that. Not sure on how to take them off either.

I will look into the vinyl wrap window trim, it shouldnt be too costly. I tried to plastidip it but it didnt work out so well lol.

I do currently have my grille painted gloss black. I bought a scratched one for 80 bucks and payed 70 to get it painted, you cant even tell it was damaged now. The grille that came with my car is sitting in my closet atm.

The GTR tail lights are also painted gloss black...I elected to get those painted because I knew it would be a lot easier to find some one to switch with me once my lease goes back. Im pretty sure those lights will fit on 2007-2012 models, so my chances of finding some one who wants them is higher. This is exactly why I havnt got my headlights done, they only fit on 2010 to 2012 sedans. When my lease goes back its going to be super hard finding some one to switch with me.

Here's my DIY on the vinyl window trim, should go great w/ your current look (which looks great BTW).

I'd also consider a front chin spoiler, should complete the look. Rick@Perryinfiniti.com has great prices & stock.
Have fun!

Thanks for the info on the TP's. I guess those are out of the equation..I wonder how HFC's will sound?

Rear diffuser you can look into the Access Evolution one but it costs around $2k shipped.

You sure you want springs and not coils? I'll suggest a full air ride system comprising of Airrex and Accuair.

If you keep that front bumper, why not get the oem front lip?

Supercharge the car?
