bad gas mileage 200 miles a tank
#31
bone stock 09 AWD with 26k miles. 93 oct all the time.
I get 16MPG per fill up. 80% city(nyc)/20% hway. 250miles per fill up (16-17gals)
when I drove all city no highway I get 14MPG for the tank.
Surprise this car doesn't get to charge the gas guzzler tax.
It's only a few MPG better than a supercar.

^ good point. our car is EPA at 20/27. if kanariya gets 14mpg city in his G, what do you think he would get with a "supercar" rated at EPA 14/20 (for example)? at the same time, an econobox rated at EPA 30/35 would be less under his conditions as well. it is what it is.

I manage upwards of 410 miles per tankfull. Overall driving about 23 mpg. On highway at 75 mph, about 28.2 mgp.
Make sure you are purchasing good gas, and that the octane rating is what is represented. Warm the car until the noise dies down and rpm drops close to normal. This should take about 30 secs., maybe a bit longer when temp below 30 F.

2010 with 39000 miles now and I've never had a tank that got less than 300 miles. Just last week i had my car idling while updating my navigation maps for about 2 hours and i still averaged over 300 miles getting about 16.5 mpg on that tank. I use an android app called "fuel log" which is a great way to get real mpg averages and i must say our mpg computer in the g is very accurate. Its never more than .2 off of what the app calculates my average to be. The most i've gotten out of a tank was 409 miles. I usually get in between 340 and 360 miles on a tank doing about 50/50 city/highway getting between 18 and 21 mpg. 200 miles/tank is ridiculous.

There are lot of good comments with numbers, so i decided to show some visual aids.
So last nite i filled the tank about 96% or more, then the wife drove around for 10miles afterwards. So this morning I started her up for my 40 mile commute to work;
Some of the commute was 40-55 mph, most of it was at 70+. I was gonna cruise the HWY to get better MPG, but it was getting boring at 70. Here are some pics of after 40 miles plus some history of MPG.
* note, my range is miles increase. I guess when you idle, you dont get a true range untill your driving.

Bad Mileage
I'm having the same issue!! I have a 2012 4 door with about 2,300 miles on it and according to the computer it is telling me that when I am doing around town driving (with normal acceleration and braking) that I am getting anywhere between 12.9 miles-15.8 miles to a gallon. Could this just be a computer issue or am i really getting this bad of mileage? I didn't realize when leasing this car that i was getting myself into a black hole for gas consumption.
