I was moving when the clutch pedal died. And when I rolled to a stop, all I could do was yank it out of gear sans-clutch. At which point I was stuck there in a parking lot, with the car running and the car in neutral. Trying to go into gear simply ground the gears (ouch). Not really much I could do at that point except turn it off. After that, it wouldn't turn back on... because clutch.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

I don't think so. What was limited was your choice of interior. For example, I don't believe they offered the Wheat Leather interior on the 6MT, only Stone and Black, and even then... Stone only on certain colors. Most 6MT Sedans have black leather.
You have to remember, Infiniti branded the 6MT as a completely different model: Journey, AWD and 6MT.

G37 Sedan, Model - Badge - Drivetrain
Journey - G37 - RWD
Journey - G37S - RWD with full Sport Package
AWD - G37x - AWD
AWD - G37xS - AWD with Sport Appearance only
6MT - G37S - RWD with full Sport Package
Also on the 6MT between 2011 and 2013, the Premium Package and NAV came standard for that model. Basically, the 6MT was the top-of-the-line G37 Sedan... as long as you don't consider AWD a requirement. Don't ask me why Infiniti made these decisions... like, why was the Sport Package appearance-only on the AWD Sedan, but worthy on the Coupe? And why didn't they offer AWD on the 6MT in both Sedan and Coupe models? It just was what it was.

Not is... was; 2013 was the last year. The 2015 Q40 (and the old G25) has no sport package. You have to move over to the unremarkable Q50 for that.

^ yeah, 6MT XS would have been a sweet combo. have to look at others for that: BMW, Audi, Subaru...
since 6MT represents such a small market share (especially in G sedans) i suspect re-configuring assembly lines, order sheets, inventory, etc, wasn't justified for an even smaller market share - the buck stopped at the 6MT RWD sedan. to be honest, i still would have chosen RWD even if AWD was offered in the 6MT sedan. lighter, less complex, less moving parts and less maintenance sounds more better to me. when the going gets nasty that's what the wife's soon-to-be '15 Highlander is for (ordered 3 months ago, still waiting).
