Got some 20" ACE Mesh 7s over the weekend. It's a lease so no plans on lowering.

Car looks great with the chrome wrap and the wheels but looks slightly strange with the 20's without a drop.

I have a 6mt sedan with the current mods:

Interior:
LEDs
NISMO titanium shift ****
various mats and covers to protect the interior from 2.5 boys (most important mod)
Basslink II sub

Exterior:
19" Volk RE30s with Michelin Pilot Super Sports
KW V3 coilovers
Sport front lip
ARK cat-back
Hotchki sways
GT Spec front tower bar
Z-tube with K&N drop-ins

I haven't installed the body-colored trunk lid finisher or the rear roof spoiler.

Next Spring I plan on adding the GTM supercharger if my business stays strong (or at least a proper tune).

The 6MT crowd might appreciate these opinions...

I had a G37x Sedan as a loaner car on two separate occasions over the last week and a half. With the second car, it was raining pretty heavy all day long, so that was a good test case. After living with these cars, I have to admit this... coming WOT out of a dead-stop in the rain is a very confident experience. And pulling WOT from a dead-stop into a right or left-hand turn, rain or shine, is also a very confident experience. It's just perfectly point & shoot. You never have to worry about controlling the car, just smash the accelerator pedal and aim with the steering wheel. It's effortless, and amazing.

And it's boring. Really, really boring. There's no finesse what-so-ever.

So then you look to the Ratchet Shifter in order to find that missing connection, right? Trying to eek out a satisfying driving experience that is dulled by the automatic transmission. You would think choosing your own gears might make it more engaged, absent the clutch pedal notwithstanding... but you would be wrong. Because that's when you discover the Ratchet Shifter on this 7AT is about as lame as it can get. It takes FREAKING FOREVER for it to switch gears. Without a proper dual-clutch, I don't know why Nissan even bothered. Maybe flappy paddles are better, but I don't see how it could matter; it's still electronically controlled, and slow as molasses.

As for the suspension, the lift on bumps is like a roller-coaster. You feel it in the pit of your stomach, unlike in my 6MT (which is always planted. Always.) And the steering is noticeably less responsive. The little brakes, however... those were OK. Honestly, I didn't sense any difference between my BBK and the standard brakes.

All in all, there is just no similarity between the 6MT and the 7AT when it comes to an engaged and rewarding driving experience. Two totally different cars, IMO.

That's been my takeaway from the loaners as well. Only nice thing about the X is that you can just mash the pedal and

And maybe the cupholders. The cupholders in the 6MT are very very
