Yeah, good deal. The parts guy told me install would be about an hour and the service guy stuck to it.
(I checked my bill, labor was $105/hr.)

Good experience with them so far, no complaints.

Good point. Hovercar.

Here's a personal analogy. For years, I danced around the idea of getting Stillen's front lip for the old Maxima. At most angles, it really complemented the car. But at a certain angle, it looked bulbous and out-of-place.

I never got it, and my thinking was in line with where you're going. If there's a design component about your car that you don't care for, it will forever stand out like a sore thumb. (Our cheap-looking OEM exhaust tips come to mind.)

So it all comes down to personality type. All-or-nothing personalities rarely compromise. But they're also really difficult to live with. Ask my wife.

Bringing this back from the dead but....

Does anyone know how much lower this makes the front bumper closer to the ground?

I am slammed in my sedan and I am worried if I get this I will start to scrape my front end

Your ground clearance is the same but since it pushes outward you'll have a tougher angle to clear w/ steep inclines, so if your slammed you'll be scraping the bottom of it for sure.

Right, that's why they call it a chin. I don't have it, but I've seen it up close, and it doesn't look like it compromises clearance at all.

It seems I was all over this thread last year while trying to decide if the chin was something I wanted. Reading back, it also looks like I was a bit of a pompous jerk.

(sigh) I need to work on that. Sorry guys.

Looks like I was also debating it in this thread haha. I wound up getting the front chin spoiler, it really grew on me and I love it now. Your ground clearance doesn't change, but the front of the lip is actually slightly lower. With the lip on, it's about even with the little black plastic lip that's about 6 inches back from the front of the bumper on the bottom. Maybe about 1" lower at the very front, but not any lower than the black piece of plastic was in the first place. Blnewt is right about scraping though, it juts out about an extra 2", making your front overhang longer and more likely to scrape on inclines.

yes, there is an oem lip for the non-sport bumpers as well. It's a little more subdued than the sport one.

How low are you @ the fender lip? I was at 25 3/4" and now w/ coils I'm up to 26.25", not much trouble clearing the lip on my steep drive now but @ the lower height it was a bit of a challenge.

Wheels and springs next.

Looks Good!

In my opinion, the front lip actually goes well with the shape of the G...better flow. Without it, the bottom front looks too square.

Screws, the clips that the screws go into, double sided tape, and the drilling templates are all included.

Been back & forth on the OEM lip since I first saw it years ago.

Think it best suits sedans with aggressive wheel & suspension upgrades, still not bad on stock sedans just seems sorta out of place to me. Also, believe a member here got the lip molded to the front bumper, which to me improved its aesthetics greatly (got rid of that pronounced seam)
