I was visiting my girlfriend; I’ve always parked my car around the corner from her house due to the tightness of her block and high traffic in order not to scratch my car. She lives in a relatively safe neighborhood but it’s on the outskirts of Philadelphia. We arrived at her house around 10:30 PM on 4/11/12. Around 11:23 the police were calling my phone stating that my G was on fire and I needed to get to the scene immediately. My first thought was that it had to be a joke given where we were but after getting there, I found out it was true; my car was indeed on fire and had been doused with water. I saw puddles of water in the front foot well and dripping to the ground. It goes without saying that I was more then pissed but I am happy it’s the car and not me.

From the pictures we can all see that the vehicle is a total loss. It hurt to see someone destroy something that I worked hard for. I remained calm and still am. I knew I had to find a new car immediately because the Chevrolet Traverse that was provided to me by Geico/Enterprise was not a great vehicle. I know, I know, at least I had a vehicle but it wasn’t what I was used to and it required a lot of gas. Yes, more than the G. So i decided it was time to pick this up

It’s a 2012 Audi S4 Premium Plus, Audi Drive Select, 7 SPD DSG, Navi. This is my 1st German vehicle, I just picked it up yesterday. I love the exterior as well as the interior. The torque is AMAZING.

Sorry for the long post and if you read it all Thanks!

Wow Chris, that story is insane!!! Glad to know that no one got hurt. I was the one that sold you that car and you even traded in that nice OB G37S Coupe... hence the user name. The Philly G's lost another.

The S4 is nice and congratulations on it, I looked at it. Take care and good luck to you.

That sucks that happened but glad you got another car you can enjoy. Just want to give you a heads up, my friend owns a tow trucking company and he says Audi and BMW are the cars he picks up the most (new models). And looking at the pics of the fire, it looks like that could have been an electrical fire based on the position of what was burnt the most.

Quick answer it wasn't electrical. As the case is still under investigation I can't say too much besides the fact that some punk threw a Molotov cocktail through the front windshield

The A4 is a so-so car, but the S4 is a serious piece of awesome sedan.

Nice choice. New hotness makes it so much easier to deal with the loss of old hotness.
