New Altima Sedan (possible hints for new G37?)

Looks pretty good, seems to borrow from the current G more than I would like (lights and front end are starting to look more similar):

2013 Nissan Altima longs to be America

Interesting tech, and the seats "designed with nasa" look almost identical to ours lol. Car is a little bigger overall, guess that means the G will probably grow a few inches in 2014 as well.

What do you think?

The profile looks borrowed from the previous generation M, not a bad look overall, not sure why these Japanese makes like that squeezed grill look so much. Maybe the front will grow on me, right now that's the only thing I'm not liking about the new Lexus GS350, an otherwise beautiful car IMO.

Not bad. I agree, the profile looks like last gen M. But the front lights and rear (especially the rear) looks like the current Maxima.

I don't see it. IMO it looks like exactly what it is - Maxima Lite.

yea, I agree it looks more like the Maxima than the G on second glance with the little indention on the lights. My coworker likes to tell me I bought a fancy altima despite the completely different platform, so maybe I'm a little more on edge about it than I should have been.

Interesting to see the tech being filtered down to the more "basic model" like blind spot monitoring, network connectivity and reverse warning like the new JX. Wonder what options Infiniti will offer, I just hope they finally give some turn signals on the mirrors, power folding mirrors, and front sonar/view around cameras.

Not much differences from current Altima. But anyway, an Altima has never been on my shopping list.

Bimmer of course, unfortunately he has the Dinan stage 3 on it too. Oh well, he'll blow it up one day then I'll be the one laughing.

Isn't a bimmer a fancy Mini?

That's like saying the G is a fancy Altima.
