And here... AutoBlog has a better collection of photos:

2013 Nissan Altima is ready for the midsize sedan showdown
The initial photo from the OP looked pretty decent, those string of photos posted above give the car an overall "blandness" that will probably appeal to the masses like Gugarci stated, but just too vanilla for my liking. The taillights look a little out of place too. Still probably more appealing than the latest Honda & Toyota family haulers.

what i don't like is the giant grill with the thick chrome surrounding and the thick piece of chrome across the rear.

I agree. The grille trim is HUGE, and looks kind of silly. So does the rear trunk chrome trim.

Looks aside... 38 mpg from that car is pretty amazing stuff. Props to Nissan for that.

I agree your comments~ hoping the upcoming G wont surpass our current design since I just bought my lovely 2011 in Sep. I think current G is very good and doesnt blend in traffic, however I dont find that many 10-11 Gs on the road., mostly fanbois 3 series like cockroaches.. haha

where are you from? because here in L.A., there are as many G's as there are 3 series, A4, and C class. I'm talking about Gs from 2007-2012, because aside from the minor facelift, it is still the same body.

I commute around Diamond Bar in the east area, only saw 2-3 09 faced G37, it's so rare to see 10-11 models, but once i saw it it's easy to distinguish because of the "eye" on 10-11 models

The G, 3, A4, C are like volume cars here. Hard to not see one walking down the street.

I guess there are more of them here in the downtown LA/Hollywood area. But yes, the G, 3, A4, and C are everywhere here. As much as Civics, if not more.

well, I'm 39. but most of the people I see driving around here in 3 series, A4, C class, or G looks like they could be in their 30's (i'm guessing).
