Exactly right. I was followed that said BMW fanboi's logic, so no further translation needed.

It looks good and obviously if you were looking at a G37/3 series you wouldn't cross shop a high volume mainstream car...wtf do we all want every car to be the same car?

Exactly, most of us, and I said most, would not trade our Gs or bimmers (except for maybe one or two), for an optima due to cooled seats.

Love the new dash... but that's about it. Everything else is just bread-n-butter boring.

What do you think?
I don't think one has anything to do with the other.

Personally, I'm hoping to dislike the new G's design, since I only just recently bought my 2011. The similar situation occurred for me back in 2004, when I had just recently purchased a new Maxima the year before the 6th Generation model was released. Fortunately, the 6th Gen looked like pooh.

Oh, and I'm also guessing the new G37 will have the IPL power mods, and at least 350 hp.

LOL

No, regardless how amazing the new G might be, I've got the car I'll be owning for at least 6-8 more years.

And here... AutoBlog has a better collection of photos:

What impresses me the most is the EPA rating for the 4 cyl model. 182 horsepower and 180 lb.-ft. of torque with a projected rating of 27 mpg city / 38 mpg highway. If that's any were close they're going to sell a lot of Altima's.

The styling is fine for family sedan. For a main-stream family sedan you can't go too wild with the styling because most people are on the conservative side and will not buy it.

Quick Reply: New Altima Sedan (possible hints for new G37?)
