New to MyG37.com

Hey guys,

I'm new to this forum, I've lurked around a bit before but finally decided to register as I just ordered a 2012 G37XS. I wanted to intro myself a bit. I am located in Vancouver, B.C. Canada, just ordered the car, should be here in a few days ready for delivery.

Got the Asgard Grey, with charcoal interior, 4 door all wheel drive, sport edition. Only options I could add was Navi, as the sport model already includes the premium so its pretty fully loaded.
Got some free all weather floor mats, looking to pick up the molded mud flaps, interior accent lighting and illuminated door sills, cargo net, trunk liner, etc. in a few months. One of my buddies works for a dealership group and they're opening up an infiniti in a few months so he can score me some staff discounts on those accessories.

Anyway, hope you welcome me into your forum and I'm happy to be here.

Plans for mods:

I have picked up a Compustar alarm starter and the Drone for smart phone control and tracking integration, picked up all the accessories, back up battery, RPS touch sensor, some other sensors etc.

I plan to integrate the compustar so I can still use my smart key to go in and out of the vehicle which will control the compustar to arm and disarm in sequence. Also with the Drone app, I'll be able to GPS track my vehicle, remote start, lock and unlock etc from my iPhone.

I also intend on doing the video bypass with a toggle switch in the centre console to cut and reconnect the VSS wire so my navigation will still work accurately when I need to, and video playback, or navigation input by the passenger.

Possibly add some headrest screens if i find the need to.

Can anyone recommend some good accessories or mods that you recommend?

i don't intend on going crazy, just basic small upgrades, not really interested in performance mods, not looking to do wheels or body kits, maybe the OEM front lip.

I may consider doing some HID foglights.

Any of your input would be greatly appreciated. Also if theres some things on this vehicle I should watch out for, let me know.

Much appreciate and looking forward to your comments.

Welcome and I really don't think that there is such a thing as small upgrades on our cars....lol
Here's a small one for you...do the starter button swap out to the GT-R one?
Dieseldoug22 can get u a custom color LED one (not sure if he ships to Canada though)

Good Luck and have fun with your new ride, they're a blast to drive.

Nice to find a 2012 just barely broken in, nice to let the original owner eat some of that up-front money too
Looks like a beauty, just waiting for a bunch of mods, let us know what you come up with and enjoy your new G!
