Like I said the 2011 G has updated the interior the materials look and feel nice.
BMW interiors are too hard plastic and pleathery.

The 328i is new so it could have some issues, its your money spend it wisely.

You'd get more for your money on the G. But if you don't mind spending more to get not as much, by all means...

2009 has the same interior material as 2010+ except for the lower res screen.

you get much value from the G. but if you want a highly refined car, the G is not #1.

I suggest you to own one before putting up your subjective opinions as facts, this is getting old.

Just a FYI - this is a G37 board. Most people on here own a G37. We bought it for a reason - power, refinement, price, etc - or a combination of several reasons. For me, it's power, handling, quality, and equipment were impressive. Combined with an incredible deal and it couldn't be beat. Period. Show me a new loaded 335 for less than $400/mo - doesn't exist.

To continue to try to say the 3 is better, more refined, faster, better, etc is useless. Honestly - if you strongly feel that way - why do you have G? Please sell it and buy what you want.

I enjoy my G every day. No amount of bashing from an internet board will change that. It's right for me. If yours is not right for you - please correct your situation.

Thanks

I did own one, and have driven every mainstream BMW model extensively except the m5, m6 and alpina. That includes the 135, 335/coupe/convertible, m3, z4, x5, x6, 535/535 wagon, 550, 650/650 convertible, 750, 750il.

So yes, it is getting old.

You sir are entitled to your opinions, but in totality the universe is not in agreement with your sentiment.

This is a thread where the OP talks about the G being surpassed by the competition. Infiniti created the G35 to go after the 3 series. It didn't hit the mark but it saved Infiniti from the axe. I enjoy by G, but BMW builds a better sports sedan, for a price.

One can either acknowledge it or not. I'll defend G for the good things they did. For the majority it's a great car. For some percentage of the minority, there are issues: like what is documented in the great tranny thread over muliple enthusiast sites.

When people say the G is the better sports sedan, ain't true. It may be the better value, but that is a whole other story.

Oh, I didn't know that you already own a F30. I would sell the G to someone who really appreciate it then, so you can sink more money into your Big Money Waster - the ultimate bragging machine.

Hahah...This g37guy01 dude always seems phoney/fishy to me. If the dude truly enjoys driving/owning his beloved BMWs, it's kind of odd that he spends an awful lot of time on an Infiniti forum just to talk trash about the car/brand/owners.

The dude needs to get off the puter and drive his imaginary BMWs more.

I guess were are back to talking about the posters and not the vehicles.

I suggest you check out my garage. And yes, I think "my beloved" BMWs did offer a much better ride, were smoother, no tranny issues, and no reliability issues. This time around though, I opted for a G. I'm not blind to the quality of the G, but you guys ought to get off your high-horses and suggest you try to drive all the models I drove before talking smack.

I don't understand from your posts, why you are in denial of the BMW brand. Is there some threat to Infiniti because BMW produced a 4 banger, which can be chipped to equal or exceed the 0-60 of the G.

At any rate I view some of this as collective fanboi-ism in the worst extreme.

Get a effing grip. Nothing's perfect in this world. You want us all to $hit on our cars just because of some minor imperfections and worship a less-than-perfect BMW instead? Don't even tell us that BMWs are perfect.

Seriously. Put down, lay off whatever you're smoking/drinking.

And go drive those imaginary BMWs of yours.

It's junk posts like this that will get this thread locked down in a hurry. No real contribution only attacks on the posters. I don't need to sink down to that level. You might want to read posting and you.

Have you ever sat in a BMW? Any BMW? Just asking.
