While it's becoming more than a little comical how many different shades of gray and silver Infiniti can come up with, I have to admit that Graphite Shadow is one of their best. Good choice.

This. I love my non-Sport seats.

The other major difference is the transmission. Some people don't like the 7-speed automatic. I've never had an issue with it. I just put it in Drive or Drive Sport depending on the circumstances.

Then there's about 10% penalty in gas mileage for the Sport.

I'm glad I bought a non-sport. I don't take my car to the track. Or push it to its limits but maybe once or twice a year. The non-Sport is plenty sporty for me.

Did you get Pandora to stream? I admit I haven't tried much - but my Galaxy Nexus (when playing Pandora ) simply goes quiet when it is paired to my car. What am I missing?

I drove the 2009 non sports journey for 39 months and it was a great car. Wish I did little better than 18mpg average.

check your audio streaming connection settings. I have an iPhone and it just plays when I'm in the car.

Well - I think it's a phone issue. I'm not sure - but I may be only to have one streaming audit 'pairing'? It works just fine when in my wife's car (another 2012 G37). But for my car - it only has the phone connection - not the audio. I have unpaired - and re-paired (ha! well - NOT repaired, but paired it again) Still - nothing. It says 'Bluetooth audio connection not chosen'.

I'll poke around a bit more on the phone. The Bluetooth options seem limited on Android 4.x....we'll see.

I was also deciding in late December between purchasing the Sport and non sport model and opted for the non sport. I love the sport seats but for my long commute each day, the sport suspension would have been too stiff though I love how the sport seats hugs you and the thigh extension would have been great. I wish they had offer the sports seats without the stiffer suspension and larger tires.

I agree, the reviews on the 12' sport vs journey/premium were that you you should save the $, not worth it...

How much would it cost to convert a Journey model to 6MT?

Reviews, huh?

On a related note, it's not uncommon nature to tell ourselves the things we're unable to justify are actually the less desirable choice. People are funny that way.

That's bull****. If you can live with the seats, you get the seats, exterior fascia, better brakes and vlsd.

Those features more than make up the minimal cost difference, assuming you can live with the seats
