I HATE these cupholders
Spilled coffee on my khaki's on the way to work railing an onramp... It's as if they are only safe for soda cans, anything else always tips to the side on turns. BOOO!!!
Anyone else hate them too? Anything we can do or buy to address the cupholders?

My coffee only tips over if I am driving less than perfect...................lol
No really I bought some SS tumblers from startbucks and they fit great. I have not had one tip over and 2 fit perfect side by side.

Not sure there is enough room for any other design. I would not want that area any wider to give more room. I think the narrow tumblers is the way to go. I also use the door bottle holders for water and they work fine.
BTW, my 12yr old son does not get food nor drinks in the car as he is prone to spillage.

I hate the cupholders but make due.
I have spilled minor amounts of coffee in the G, not from the cupholder but holding the cup in my hand. My last car Subaru had great cupholders, again I was holding the coffee and the top came off of a 20oz cup and I spilled about half of it. Ouch to me and the car smelled like coffee for weeks.
In the G I keep bumping in the coffee cup with my elbow.
