The G25 is more than enough for most people. Not everyone cares about power or a navigation option, and this car is for those people. For example, my G37 doesn't have navi and it has never bothered me, I own an iphone so its not a problem.

I think the thing that bothers me most is the minimal mpg increases. If this car wag getting an additional 7-10 mpg better than the 37 I could see a bigger interest in the car, but for a 25% or more (I'm just guessing here) decrease in performance w/ only about a 10% increase in mpg I just don't see much of a reason to consider this car, and the MSRP is quite high for what you get (compared to our G37 bargain).

the G25 is by no means a car that any of us would consider getting.

its the perfect solution for people for people who dont give a damn about power, want something good on gas and cheap....something that can get them out of their honda and into something a little more luxurious, you;d be surprised how many people fall into that category.

thats y you see so many people with bare bones BMW 328's....its the cheapest easiest way to get into something of value

Yes, not everybody cares about street racing. The 328 has impeccable road manners and an upscale interior. (Whether one likes it or not is subjective and I'll steer clear of that conversation)

10% increase on paper doesn't mean 10% in real life driving. It's all depends on where you live. I live in New York, where there is a traffic light or a stop sign on every corner. The City MPG rating for my car is 18 mpg, but because of where I live I get 11 mpg at best. I think that I can get the G25 to 15-16 mpg in NYC. More than 10% difference

LMAO!!! This is exactly why I'm glad my wife didn't give me push back when I bossed up on the G37 and not the G25.

Nissan sells a ton of 2.5 Altimas, I would imagine that demographic may also apply to the entry-level luxury market.

I find it odd that people complain about power on a less powerful car.

When I got my 335 I was happy with the performance of the 328 until I took a ride in a 335. My advice was always...if you don't want to spend the extra cash don't drive a 335.

A $4000 savings on MSRP isn't a "little bit" and if you can haggle on a 37 you can haggle on a 25.

Saying it doesn't have back up or navi as a reason not to like something is pretty stupid. Honestly NAVI is the biggest waste of money in any car. I wish cars just had a spot to dock a phone, or aftermarket navi. Paying $2500 for a product that is outdated the day you bought it and can be had for $300 aftermarket isn't "smart" buying. And honestly do you use your Navi to drive home? Do you not use your mirrors to drive?

The G25 fills a nice niche market. If everybody wanted the "best and fastest" one can say all 'have to step up" and buy the IPL because technically it has more HP.

Thats your opinion but a lot of people find ALL the extra features that come with the Navi PKG to be useful and worthwhile having. To not offer it in a luxury brand is what is stupid, IMO

you are the bimmer lover guy who bashed my other thread huh?
we can go over this all day long, but Bimmer 328i has the worst, "WORST EVER" interior that similar to a civic 2000.

this is my take, so helps you a lot

Agreed, I like my Garmins more than the in car Navi. For the price paid for one, you can have a latest portable every year. You can take the portable in any cars that your family own, without ever need to re-instate your favorite destinations, POI, etc. Eight to ten years later if you kept your cars that long and it was still working, the best place for it is to sit in a museum collecting dust.
