there really isnt a better valued car at this price you get a lot of car for the money. the fact that this car is compared with $50-60k cars (similarly optioned 335 and s4) but can be had for $35k says it all

Yeah, I figured that G37 is such a good car for the money.

It's just that audi a4 looks so... good..

It does inside and out, so does the Lexus. Your just missing out on performance with those unless you get an IS350AWD which is a few grand more than a similarly optioned 37

If you get the G you won't be disappointed. Just know that for all of the cars you mentioned, servicing CAN be expensive.
I would recommend the Infiniti OR the Lexus over the Audi because of reliability as you mentioned.
I would recommend the Infiniti over the Lexus because you get more for your money, and there's also a larger after-market for parts for the G.
Congrats on getting into DSchool, btw, where are you gonna go?

I haven't started applying yet, haha. I'll be starting to apply this summer. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I meant that I'll be a dental student in a year.

It's just that I know I get into a dental school with the grades I have, and I've been a pre-dental student.

I've heard that Lexus is very "classy" inside, as it's very smooth and you can't hear the outside noise from the inside.
However, Lexus exterior seems very outdated..
I guess G37 is indeed the best haha.

I just got my 2012 G37x and love it! Great value for the car you are getting and definitely fun to drive. Some people seem to complain the ride is a little stiff or the engine is a little loud. Personally I like that. Coming from a Mazda3, the sound of the engine of the G37 is heaven to my ears!

No, if you like the car just buy it now. You are very likely left disappointed that it is pretty certain there will be no redesign for 2013 even 2014. And they are going to put a Mercedes engine in the new G, and it likely to be a turbo charged 4 banger. Unless you are a big fan of a small displacement turbo, I would buy the V6 G now.

Personally I prefer the audi A4 aesthetics, but it severely lacks power for the price.

A4 price with prestige package = more expensive than fully loaded G37
A4 power is roughly 210hp where as G37 is 328hp-330hp.

If I spend 40K I don't want to be out paced by Ms. Daisy in her Camry.

My bro has the IS250 with 6mt and when he floors it I can't even tell. When I have at the throttle, everyone screams that I'm going too fast.
