Anyone running Ark catback with FI HFCs?
Recently installed Ark's catback exhaust and I'm now thinking about HFCs and a tune. Berks + Ark sounds good, but a little raspy for my taste. Seems like FI's cats are a little quiter, spoke to Tony from FI today and he said he could do a resonated HFCs (advertised as cat pipes) for the sedan. Just wondering, is anyone running any version of FI HFC with Ark and if so how does it sound? Ark with stock cats sounds great, deep/throaty, wouldn't want to lose that with the addition of HFCs. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, definitely wanna do cats but rasp and/or drone would be deal breakers.

Sammy I'm in the same boat as you.. unfortunately art pipes aren't available for the awd it has to be modified. Everything seems to hiss/rasp with that setup I think the only real option is to wait for ark to release their hfcs

I have the ark exhaust as well as kinetics HFC, it makes the car loud, there is no sneaking in anywhere with this setup. Didn't change the sound too much just made it louder. i do not experience rasp but i do get an almost whistling sound between shifts sometimes, but only on one side. It only happens once or twice a week, but annoying as hell pulling away at intersections, some people have mistaken it for a blow off valve. I bought the HFC used so i dont know if one of them is blown out. I already switched out the gaskets, probably going to buy new HFC or switch to berk to see how they perform.

If you have any doubts give Tony a call and voice your concerns, he should be able to help you figure out what is needed.

I'm running Stillen Gen 3 + Ark + Art pipes. and its raspy in the low range. I'm wondering what ya'll did with your install to get rid of rasp (if you had any). I used the stock exhaust flange gasket with black rtv and still RASP! and a bit of a hiss! ADVICE!!!?? I'm thinking of putting rtv on the flat surfaces on both ends of the pipes..ADVICE!!!??

I have a 2010 awd sedan. I want a catback AND hfc's but I don't want rasp or drone. Is this possible? I don't want quiet...OR too loud (but definitely louder than stock). I want a nice, deep, throaty growl.
I see most of you are mixing different companies product. ARK with Berk...FI with ART...etc.
What about FI with FI?
Or Stillen with Stillen?
Would it be best to keep both the catback and hfc with the same company? Or is it better to mix and match?
