Congrats.
No go drop $20 on Jsolo's clutch-pedal spring and experience how much better you can drive the car after that simple mod.

 This is so true. You are fully engaged with driving the g37s 6mt, all the time. If that's something you like, then it's a superior driving experience compared to the awd model. It just is.
Congrats.

Thanks! I've read that I can just remove the spring assembly itself. What's the difference ?
The car is planning on staying mainly stock for at least 6 months. I'm putting my focus on my S14. Gotta get all the fab work done before paint!

Here's the quick answer to your question: just removing the bracket & spring does give you much improved clutch pedal feel as you engage and disengage the clutch. However, it adds a sloppy amount of loose play to the top... which you can compensate for with washers, pennies, duct tape, what-have-you. However, without the bracket & spring, you also get a side-to-side play in the pedal that you can't fix without putting the bracket back in. Therefore, the easiest and best solution is to simply replace the spring with one that has significantly less compression strength.
Welcome to the forum, boss.

Total newbie here... first performance car. Was driving a Prius before...I've gotten a little shock at the pump already, but this car drives like a dream. G37 Journey. Anywho would you guys recommend installing an eibach pro-kit? What other mods would you guys recommend? thanks!

...and Eibach PK springs designed for the RWD sedan are a much better option in my opinion. A little bit more of a drop than Swifts, and still no camber kit (front or rear) are required to get in within (or close to) alignment spec.
(see what I did there )
Anyway, here is my G37S on Eibachs

Here is my info with alignment specs. As you can see, mostly within spec and the rest is close. No camber kits.
