@socketz67 here is a pic of the rims when they came back refinished. You can see a slight difference between the colour of the hub cap and the rim itself. I paid $600 for the refinish, which I thought was just fine considering I paid $400 for the rims. I am Canadian though so knock %30 off those price tags. Actually found a comparison pic as well. I feel like the duckfoot is overly shiny in this pic compared to the refinished one. That might have something to do with the angle of the photo...anyway I think you get the point

I cannot see the difference in color between the refinished wheel and OEM finish? Those look amazing (brand new) on you car. Agree the the original Sport wheel looks too "Silver" on a darker colored car. I still however like the Silver look of the duckfeet on lighter colors as those same wheels look darker on my car. I also like how they pickup the silver hues in the carbon fiber elements I've installed.

I picked a set of the coupe 10 spokes for my '13awd and had them refinished at a local shop. The owner said it would be expensive to do the hypersilver so I only did the two fronts which had the most curb rash on them. They came close to matching them but the were noticeably darker than the two rears that were not refinished. The owner of the shop said he could match the two rears to the same colour as the fronts for no extra charge so I said 'why not'. It was still decently expensive but I ended up with 4 of the coupe 19s refinished for the price of two, so I was and still am very happy with the results.

I liked the "lobster claw" sport wheels. My sport Q came with the newer style, 19x8.5 square. I think the lobster claw ones look much better IMO and would probably look sweet on any G. I just really like the canted spokes.

I like the "Lobster Claws" as well. They look great on the coupe here: https://www.reddit.com/r/G37/comment..._hyper_silver/

First time I heard the phrase lobster claws. Fitting name.
I like them too. But I can't get over the fact that one side of the car has the spokes sweeping forward. That just looks dumb.

I recall them being used on the Z, but forgot that they were also included on the $4K+ "Performance Wheel Package" as well.
Concept Z sells them for a little less: https://conceptzperformance.com/niss...37_p_19240.php

Any idea the lightest of all the OEM sport wheels we are discussing? G37/Q wheels, not ones from the prior G35 gen.
I also wonder how the black/silver center caps from the newer Q wheels would look on the duck feet? Make them look a little more modern? Or perhaps they would stand out too much? Wish my Photoshop skills weren't so rusty.

There is something about the design that doesn't look symmetric to me, and I think you nailed it. Definitely looks more aggressive compared the stock "Grand Touring" looking wheel which has alot more spokes and a lower ease of cleaning factor.

The lobster claw wheels are practically a dime-a-dozen on eBay.
I only wish I liked them, but, not for me. Then again, I admit I am picky which is why I'm still stuck w/ the 15-year-old OEM 19's
