Most of this is likely to be different by the end of the year. But this is what I got so far.

Just installed:
- SSR GTX01 19x9.5 +35
- Nismo Lug Nuts
- 275/35/19 Falken RT660
- 370z Nismo Front Spring/Shocks (red)
- Swift Rear Springs

Black wheels aren't usually my first choice but I couldn't pass up the deal on the wheels/tires. I will probably end up selling these tires for something a little less aggressive and sized smaller for the front. Overall, very pleased with the look and the ride is surprisingly firm yet comfortable. I will however end up installing Swifts in the front as I think it will lower the car a little more.

Opened up a can of worms and now thinking of blacking out the trim and buying the OEM front lip.

I just got this for $6500 bucks. 2010 G37xs auto with 120,000 miles. No issues, no dash cracks, new tires and rims. Power steering needed replaced but guy did it for me before I bought it. Throws the catalytic converter code so I'll deal with that. Love this car and never had anything close to as fast before. Still getting used to the goofy transmission but I'm having a blast.

Are the Sport wheels powder coated or spray painted?

I'm not 100% sure but it looks professional. I'm guessing this car was garage kept. Your ride is sick. I need new headlights or I need to clean mine up. Should I straight pipe this thing? I'm sure it will cause a permanent check engine light right?

I've never seen anyone pimp their front chin before. That looks really good.

Thanks Rochester. The oem front lip had taken on a lot of small rock chips over the years and Doctor Color Chip just wasn’t as effective anymore. I also did the rear diffuser so the CF accents are a little more cohesive.

A French company named Hexis makes the vinyl as I could not find anything that looked as nice in the 3M catalog: https://www.hexis-graphics.com/en/ne...rowing-family/

Thanks man. Can you take a close up pic of one of the wheels? I have been interested in doing something with my wheels, but I'm not sure what makes sense as chrome looks good to me (albeit a dated look), but I'm definitely in the minority. Black chrome looks good, but there are few shops in CA that perform the service (chrome as well) since there are environmental issues involved (and the cost is north of $1k). Personally, I'm not a fan of straight pipes, but shorter 9" resonators and a new axleback will greatly improve the tone of the exhaust. If you live in a state that doesn't require smog, then I would remove the cats as they are sometimes problematic on these cars (warranty is 8 years/80,000 miles). With regards to the headlights, I had one of mine (passenger side) replaced 8 years ago under warranty and it has been impervious to fade ever since. However, the one in the pic is the original light and it requires work to maintain as I need to buff it with my cordless drill and cleaner wax a couple times per year. I then apply wipe the light with a very small amount of WD-40 after each wash as that seems to delay the fading. The issue is that there's very small cracks in the light which allow moisture to get inside; the WD40 seems to provide a small barrier to entry. There's headlight cleaning kits you can buy which will make them look like new, so don't replace them unless you are looking for something more custom.

I was thinking the same thing, but wondering if that's a diecast model or a small pic of the same car photoshopped onto the photo? I have looked for G37 sedan diecast cars on and off and this one in the Ukraine appears to be the closest I can find: https://diecast.com.ua/en/sold-items...g37-sedan.html (1 USD = 37 UAH, $14?)

A majority of the diecast products I find online are Coupes. I love how they screwed up the spelling of Infiniti.

While not for the USDM, Nissan themselves used to sell the sedan models (see here):

I am sure with enough searching you can find one.

Those are pretty cool ILM. Looks like it says 350GT on the rear emblem, so its the G35 that was in transition to the G37 (07-08?). Guess beggars can't be choosy.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan...n_(V37;_2014):

370GT sedan (DBA-KV36)

Introduced in 2008 for the 2009 model year, the 370GT sedan is a Japanese version of the Infiniti G37 sedan. It replaced the 350GT sedan. 7-speed automatic transmission 18-inch wheels are standard for all model ranges, except for the 370GT Type P, which has 17-inch wheels.

For that diecast model above, likely yes. I had just done a quick cursory search as I know I have seen them on that site before when searching for JDM parts. There are "real" G37 sedan models out there. There is even a police car variant, . But, as you pointed out, there are plenty of Coupes, but few sedans.

However, do not let the "370GT" badge mislead you as that label, technically, applies to any model with the VQ37 engine except the 370Z. This includes:
  • our G37 ("Skyline" C/H/K/V36);
  • the M37 ("Fuga" Y51);
  • the FX37 (S51 ("Skyline Crossover" J50 in Japan)); and
some of, what I call, the "Q-soup" Infiniti models.

Thanks for the clarification. The Wiki I referenced earlier becomes hard to follow around the 12th generation. Hard to believe that Nissan/Infiniti never tried to capitalize on the nostalgia of the Skyline. Also, if you look at the Q, their marketing and execution failed even worse as cars like the Red Sport were so close to be the best Grand Tourer that ever hit the market; DAS when operating correctly and DDS showed thought leadership, but they were canyon carving implementations. Additionally, I like the dual screens as it allows one to keep the navigation and mapping separate from the radio controls.

Infiniti allowed the analysts and youtubers that call themselves analysts classify it with the likes of the M-3 and AMG, for which it wasn't well suited; they let others tell their story and this resulted in a brand of the brink of extinction.
