You must have a Clay bar finish because that is immaculate. I have same car/color with similar summer wheel color too (145xxx) and I wish mine looked half as good as yours

I think that's the best looking black G37 sedan photo I've seen

My wife really wanted to me to buy an Aston Martin V8 Vantage, but it was either a 1 - 2 year old V8 Vantage or a brand new C8 Vette for $25K less. The Vette definitely isn't my first choice from a styling stand-point, especially with that giant booty! But after driving one that all went out the window. In touring mode the car is just SO easy to drive... definitely easier and more comfortable than the Infiniti. And if your just cruising on the freeway around 75 MPH you can easily get 30 MPG. We actually drove it to Palm Springs this past weekend and averaged just about 31 MPG for the entire trip. Not too bad for a 6.2L V8 with nearly 500 HP!
I had a C7 that I sold half a year ago and one of the most noteworthy parts of the car was how comfortable and easy it was to drive around town. Coupled with the magnetic suspension, It was lower than my QX50 but the ride was more comfortable and didn't tire me out. Coupled with the smooth and fast A8 that everyone seemed to find problems with, it was a sports car that could be daily driven.

It's pretty sad when my truck and wife's SUV, both of which have Hemi V8's, both sound way better than my bright yellow Vette. LOL
Corvettes have a set of secondary cats that restrict the sound no matter what kind of axleback you put on it, it will sound not much different from factory. I actually like the quiet aspect of the car since it brings more of a 'subdued' vibe

It will look better once I detail & ceramic coat it. I have a list of things I want to get done and parts waiting to be installed

Finally got on a pair of coupe 19s as well for my '13XS sedan. Took me almost 2 years to hands on a used pair (covid and I live in Canada). Looks like you have spacers on yours, if so, what size do you have? I was thinking 15mm

My 2010 G37 Sedan, ol’ peppy silver ..

Let’s see I’ve added a K&N Typhoon series cold air intake, rebuilt the transmission, Straight piped it and left the stock tips.. which I’m getting the single exit ISR I believe soon. Also I have a bully dog chip tune currently installed in extreme mode. And either the ecutek or uprev tune I’m going to get asap.. I didn’t realize all the tunes available when I purchased the bullydog😡 umm just replaced the coils, plugs, lots of gaskets … I’ve done plenty more, but also have plenty more to do for sure! I’m sure I’m forgetting something but until then what do y’all think?

I do not have any spacers, the fitment is almost spot on at stock height.

So nothing really new here, but found an old photo from the day I got my car and compared it to another recent photo at a similar angle (way different light, but it’s too cold to go outside and take a new one). Safe to say Operation Chrome Delete was pretty successful. Main motivation for me was the titanium package that used to be available for Audi S and RS cars (it still might be).

Anyone else have a before/after photo to share, ideally similar angle and light? It’d be neat to see how far along some folks have come (personally I’ve only done a handful of pretty modest tweaks over the years).

I was close to getting mine from Jim Coleman too, they seemed like straight shooters. But then I went with Willow Grove up in PA, who proceeded to try to rip me off, hours after learning that I just completed private sale of my old car (2006 Altima SER). So after a short panic I found a black 6mt sedan (albeit with stone colored interior) at Holman in NJ. Whirlwind of emotions that day…

Wow, original owner with over 14 years of ownership. That’s gotta be rare. Love the progress over the years, perfect stance to me. Proves that to us enthusiasts, ownership is really a journey (sorry to get sappy).

I considered doing this too, but when I opened the front door I quickly changed my mind. Cold out here today!

I didn't know you were the original owner, iCrap. What took you 8 years to join the forum?

Well, I didn't really get into modifying the car until around whenever it is that I signed up on the forum... (2015? maybe). Before that I was doing all my own maintenance DIY but no modifying.

Jim Coleman seems fine, although these days they seem to have been downgraded quite a bit. Last I went by there the service kind of sucked, and so did their stock.
