Post some close ups. It looks good from that shot but I think can see quite a bit of peel on that door

Well, that's good. They must at least sand off the old paint now. Just make sure you sell it sometime in year 4.

With how far vinyl wrapping has come over the passed few years, think I'd strongly consider that route (if full paintjobs are in the $5K ballpark).

That said, paintjob looks nice from that photo.

I’ll post some shots when I get my first wash. There definitely is orange peel but I was told to expect it so I don’t expect to see anything awesome until it’s been color sanded.

Haha or start saving for another paint job now! Lol.
I didn’t see your other question re the parts. I have an Sti front lip, Ventus side splitters and found some universal rear spats I liked. Auto kits rear diffuser is supposed to come next week.

Thanks man, compared to how it looked before (completely screwed) it looks like a dream now so I’m happy!

Hi everyone, here's my anniversary edition I got from a tow yard. I fell in love with this car in 2012 when I worked for Infiniti. Bought for $1500

Looks like a great project car BULL. What do you have in store for it and how does it run?

The goal is for it to become a daily. Car broke trans cooler and killed the trans and has was towed from complex to complex until it was impounded.
Once tow yard liened the car I showed up with cash and she was mine.

120k Engine is solid, just didnt move. I plan on keeping this one for some time. I learned with my 05 the hard way with bolt ons and plan on going straight for tuning once she gathers some mileage.

I already hid some wiring in the bay and plan on dressing that part first as I'm changing gaskets and what not

Wow, the interior of that car is absolutely beat. Looks like itll need new seats, dash, doorcards etc. Still a steal for a $1500 project. Crazy how cheap Gs have gotten.

It's an unfortunate issue with these cars, this is what happens to our interiors in hot climates and at the hands of careless owners.

Seats will be repaired, cheapest red interior i've found has sold for $1700 which will never happen. Dash will get replaced eventually along with wheel and door panels.

Seeing replacements for the price of turbo kits makes me sadder, I still could not pass up on this gem.
