This will probably sound dumb, but it looks like you have thicker sidewalls than the OEM 18" wheels. Does this have to do with having a wider wheel? Or could I get thicker sidewalls on OEM wheels?
Cheap, fake winter wheels, but I agree, they do look sick, especially when clean and polished. And nope, the sidewall is almost OEM size. I think Michelin just makes sexy sidewalls that look meatier, plus the slight stretch due to wider wheels makes it seem much bigger than it actually is. Look below, the specs arent too different.
Still got some fitment issues, might have to take her to an autobody shop. Also got those cf fenders which might need an expert since they don't come pre-drilled. My last drilling CF didn't go so well. Plus I kinda want them partially painted.

Like this shot, nice stance and the black contrasting parts look good! You've been quite busy

I just need to replace the J2 exhaust now. A) It has a leak from bottoming out (before I bought it) at the Y-pipe. B) It doesn't look all that nice and has some rust on the mufflers (despite the rest of the undercarriage being clean). I would love to get GTHaus just because of it's exclusivity and aggressive sound, but I may settle on Ark (which is still great and on my other car). Or i could just run OBX until I can afford GTHaus.
Quick pic of my 2015 Q40 w/ 38k.
mods include Mishimoto tubes w/ K&N dropins, and 19" Maxima rims. Recently got the windows tinted 20% and the roof wrap done next up sways, springs, 15mm spacers and paddle shifters.
Thanks I thought they looked good too they just need some spacers to get the offset just right. I picked them up with a set of 80% Michelin tires for $500
