Show off your Sedans!
Not exactly sure. I was driving it and went to pass a car, tried to accelerate, car went limp, gave it some throttle and it wouldn't rev past 3k. When I gave it more throttle, I heard a lovely explosion of various noises. So, I pulled over and as I pulled into the parking lot it died. I had it towed to an Infiniti dealer, they got it to turn over but after 5 mins of driving it, diagnosed it with "catastrophic" engine failure in both lower and upper parts of engine. I was hoping it was a potential seized alternator or a/c compressor bc I smelled a strong odor of burnt rubber. They loosened belt and all pulleys turned freely.
The worst part is, I've only owned the car since May (and babied it) and just purchased some goodies for it in August. I didn't even get the coilovers out of the box. Oh, and the week before dropped $770 on a water pump replacement. To me, it seems too much of coincidence but I have no way to prove anything.
Not sure if I should sell it as-is, part it out or fix it.

Wow. What a horrible story. So sorry to hear that!
Were there any signs of engine overheating prior to it dying? That might be some indication that the water pump was (or wasn't) the culprit.
There was one time that it started to overheat but in the moment, luckily it was as I pulled into my driveway. I immediately turned the engine off and waited for it to cool down. I then added some coolant. A few days later I had the water pump replaced. I am wondering if anything the mech did while replacing the pump contributed to the failure.
Picked up my car after it was finally fixed. You can read about it here: https://www.myg37.com/forums/g37-sed...s-2-700-a.html
It only took 33 days, required 4 separate tows, involved 4 different repair shops, and cost a mere $5,800 for a new TCM, IPDM, and ECM. Snapped some pics this evening as I prepare the Craigslist ad.

Look at the lift under that car. Installed at the manufacturer's shop?
Thanks!
Yes it was installed at ARK.
I ordered for pickup from them when it on sale because shipping cost.
I planned to have different car to pick it up, but things happened. If only the seats folded down in sedan.
I was also planning to do it myself.

Black only looks nice when its clean. My previous car was black and I HATED it because it's impossible to keep clean, especially since I park outside.
