I agree! Awesome shot! Too bad his trunk is open though.
Its not open. Unfortunately, that's what you get with carbon fiber trunks sometimes. The trunk gaps rival a dodge viper. Still looks sick He has CF everywhere, not overlays, but true parts.

Eek. That is a bad fitment... I'm guessing the trunk might not even be sealing against the gasket since it appears to be sitting up so high. You would think most of that gap could be eliminated by adjusting the trunk latch and hinges.
You know me, I'm all for CF accents, but having full CF body panels is a bit too much for me. At least on his black car it a little more subtle and doesn't stand out as much.

Yeah, Vic laughs it off, but I know hes hurting inside haha. Wait till he sees this thread and then comes to my house to smack me. It doesnt actually sit high, the gaps are just really big giving that illusion. The seal seems to be tight.

the trunk funny enough seals no problem. In that angle, it really brings out the gap on that trunk. Looking at it parallel or perpendicular at it is passable.
Its a Seibon trunk. If it was VIS. My trunk gap would be fist length. lol
I've tried taking out the trunk strut, aligning. And to no avail. Its as good as it gets. It is really light. All I can give it.
Must be the angle of the pic, those specs are a flush fit. Any pics straight down the side, and agree w/ the other reply regarding the stepped lip, nice look there!
I'm lazy haha so I just got around to grabbing one:
Also I was up at my buddy's lake house with a few friends and we did an impromptu photo-shoot... both cars were filthy but oh well. His is a Malbec 6MT on mag blue TE37s and airlift suspension. If I didn't have so many other cars I would have probably waited to find a 6MT and gone the airlift route as well!
Haters gonna hate! Thanks for the tip on the spoiler - unpopular opinion here, but I actually like the early model spoiler better, so I'm on the lookout for one of those in my color.
Also for the record, CAD texted me but failed to mention your tip on the spoiler... only wanted to inform me that people don't like my wheels. Some "buddy"!
Well it is an online forum so don't know how you can't expect opinions and I'm not hating, I know first hand what blue wheels look like against Malbec and at no point does mag blue go with malbecs purplish/reddish color. I also see nothing else blue to tie in the theme. None the less it's actually nice to actually talk to another Malbec 6mt owner and FYI, Malbec was not a color option for the earlier 07-09 models so you may have to buy one and have it painted to match
