And he may look at your car and mumble...Looks boring. Different strokes for different folks. Not a lot of us have custom wide-body here on the board, thought I'd share.
Even though the cambered-out look isn't really my style, I'm still happy you shared it with us. That color really is gorgeous. Do you happen to know what paint/color was used for the car?
Thanks guys. Was BMW guy before this. Didn't want to post before I had everything I wanted on the car! Eibachs, 20mm spacers all around, gloss ducks, wrapped the chrome trim, j2 exhaust (on before I bought car), and yes Rochester the CONTI's! I'm surprised it was hard to find my setup. Only thing I wish was maybe keep the rims the same or different color calipers.
Biddles, your ride looks great! I dig the black on black and really like how the white lettering on the tires stands out in a good way (IMO). Can we get a close up of a tire/wheel in the day? I'm curious how the lettering looks up close.
Pretty sure those are tire stickers. And while I'm predisposed to chuckle at how obvious they are, Biddles' setup is genuinely appealing at first glance. Maybe because 18" tires a a little more beefy than we're used to seeing with aftermarket rims, except that these aren't aftermarket, they're just painted Sport 18’s. Or it's the gloss black look, dropped and spaced over amber BBK calipers and slotted rotors.
Whatever it is, thumbs up, newbie! Welcome to the forum.
What else do you have going on there? Axleback isn't stock.
Looking good, Biddles! Welcome to the forum. Those white letters actually look quite good with that fat 18" rubber! Got any close-ups of the tires that you can share?
I think my brake caliper color is too aggressive to not have the letters otherwise it looks little cheesy (personally). That is the main reason I went with the lettering. It draws attention to that and makes the car as a whole look more aggressive. And as you can see in the picture w/o the lettering (while the car is dirty which I don't have time to clean often), the car looks a lot less appealing. And yes I kind of like having fat look 18". Lowered on Eibachs with the 20mm spacers is pretty flush. Thanks for the complements guys! I would like to black out the exhaust mufflers blnewt, that looks good!
