Quick One With Summer Shoes

Quick and dirty iPhone pics...

Still fine tuning the fitment on the new coils, new (to me) wheels and tires...but here it is: a work in progress (note to self: only change one thing at a time or you have too many moving pieces that need to be reconciled ). Looking back in a week or so, I hope to be looking at about 1/2" more gap in the back (rubbing over dips with more than one person in the G) and a bit more flush in the front (15mm spacers right now going to 20mm):

^^ it's looking great Sean! And when the mod bug hits hard there's no such thing as one thing at a time

Looks really good

Have you thought about smoking out the chrome bezel on the headlights?

Yes. I certainly have.

I want the housing smoked or painted/etc. and the fancy clear STiR lenses (think those are the right ones if they don't bubble up the paint), but leave the bezels or whatever the things are that holds the lens, chrome so it ties in the other chrome do-dads.

Unfortunately that particular mod exceeds my skill, patience, and overall sense of well being. I'll leave it to the pros.

Yes.

But in my defense, the sport coupe wheels PCd in sunken treasure are my 'winter' set-up.
So as you can see, it's not really an extravagance. It actually borders on the frugal since the tires will last longer being swapped seasonally.

Yes they are, 18x9.5 +38 with a 15mm spacer all around on 235/45 18 Bridgestone Potenza RE97AS (for now, just needed to get the car back on the road, 255s will be on in the summer)

Haha, wow. So the sport coupe wheels are winter rats, and the others (Z track package rims?) are your summers? I didn't know that.

I like the Z rims better.

Yep Z sport package.

Thanks. I like them both, of course. I like the full change in looks. . Also I'm not sure I could get away with the Z ones in the winter. LOL
