Springs?

Sway bar?
Exhaust?
Intake?
Only a $1000? Your G37S already comes with beefed up sway bars compared to the base journey model so unless you plan on tracking the car save your imaginary money on that and do exhaust but a good quality exhaust for $1000 is hard to find. I did intake and HFC as my first mods. Good luck with your imaginary spending money and don't get too crazy

No, that's not correct. However, it is a common misunderstanding.

All RWD Sedans get the same sways, regardless of Sport Package. The only suspension difference between the non-Sport Journey and the Sport Journey (and 6MT) are the shocks. Add to that the tighter steering, larger wheels, and performance tires... it certainly feels different. But the swaybars are the same, Zoster. Honest.

If $1000 is the hard cap for mods to this G37S, then absolutely sways and an intake kit. That's probably the best fit to the budget.

Interesting...thanks for pointing that out. I was always under the impression that it had beefed up sway compared to the base journey model. But there are other goodies that the Sport Model gets compared to the journey.

Well, I did qualify that as the only suspension differences.

About three years ago, I sold blnewt my old "sport" sways. Turned out to be exactly what he already had on his RWD Journey.

Oops.

Took a pre-dawn drive up into the Santa Cruz mountains, and was at one of my favorite lookouts for the sunrise. Not a bad way to spend a morning.

And a few to show off my DIY'd black out lights and RGB halos.

Hey lobuzz, we need to shoot our cars together! I have a decent camera and a drone but my photography skills could use some work.. I've been meaning to go out Santa Cruz way for some time. Amazing car and pics btw!

Blacked out window trim, rims, grille and headlights; windows tinted on a Graphite Shadow.

Ah... now I understand, Mark.

That is such a nice setting for a sublime G, love the Santa Cruz area, used to go to the boardwalk every summer and ride the Giant Dipper when we lived in Sunnyvale.

Thanks! I'd be down to do a mini shoot and play around with the drone.
You really need to check out some of the roads in the SC mountains. They're a great drive and stupidly beautiful.

Yup, it's a pretty straightforward formula.

I love the area. SC Mountains on one side and Mt Hamilton on the other. No shortage of great driving roads. And yeah, the boardwalk is always good fun.

Yeah we should definitely plan this sometime. Are you on IG? If so find me @gntlmn_z. I'm hoping to have my suspension in by next Friday if all goes to plan!
