I'm curious about this mod as well. What's the ratio in the new diff housing?
3.69 final drive! And what did you drop the trans for? Clutch?

Nice job on the wins. Your sedan looks super nice man, i like what you've done with her. I'll have mine done one day haha. Also, there are Some clean looking cars in those pics, looks likes a good turn out.

Thanks, Brad. Much appreciated... I wasn't sure about the white calipers at first, but they have definitely grown on me.. Hard to believe they've been on there for almost 6 years now and still look almost brand new.

FYI... I've still got that AutoKitsX CF rear diffuser sitting in my warehouse at work if your still interested in it. It's still mounted to my original rear bumper, but I may try to pull it off this weekend. I'm at least planning to go through all my parts over the holiday weekend and post them up in the classifieds, as I have WAY too many extra parts laying around that I need to get rid of.

Thanks man. Much appreciated! We have a good crew and almost always display with club banners, barriers, etc... and we typically have way more cars (I think we had 18 show up for Spocom in Anaheim earlier this year - Including a member with his new Mclaren), but this show was in Vegas, so it meant 4 hours of driving and at least one night in a hotel.

Very cool. That's the same final drive my car has, 3.692 (since it is a 2008 with the 5AT), but it should make a noticeable difference if you have the 7AT tranny. I've actually been looking for a used rear diff out of a 6MT G37 convertible with the 3.916 final drive ratio for quite a while now, but with no luck.

I'm actually on my 3rd tranny since I had my GTM SC installed several years ago. Even with the valve body upgrade the factory clutch packs just can't handle all that extra power, especially in the higher gears. I think Lt8Che has finally talked me into doing it right and I'm finally going to bite the bullet and have Level 10 build up my next tranny for me, as this seems to be the only weak point left in my car right now.

Thanks for all the encouraging words. "I'll have mine done one day"... I know exactly what you mean! Modding is a process... it typically takes a slow progression and it doesn't happen overnight (unless your building a SEMA car). My car has been through several different phases and every time I say she is almost done I find something else to do... Right now I'm looking at replacing my front seats, redoing the entire interior, and possibly doing some headlight mods... plus the built tranny. Then she'll be done! Yeah, right?!?! LOL

Thanks! I wasn't sure about the black roof at first, but it definitely seems to make the car look lower and wider and gives it a more menacing appearance.

Nah, my beater is parked in the garage/warehouse next door. ;-)

The Lincoln limo? Thanks for leaving the Carrera GT for me. That's awful nice of you.

LMFAO!!! No motorboats for me with the wife around. ;-)

But funny you mention that pic, because I was mad that they had to put their jackets on right before my pic was taken. They started the day without the jackets and were REALLY busting out, but it started to get cold right as the sun started to go down and I got stuck with a picture with two busty babes wearing jackets. LOL

Hahaha. Awfully selfish of you there, Tony!

Seriously, though, I think it's the other way around now. Now you've got me playing catch-up, especially in the HP department!

In fact, you're really making want to get her back to the track to see if I can break into the 11's too, so I really need to get my tranny to Level 10 soon!

Ahhhh So you've got a g35? That would be a nice upgrade! I just finished the 3.69 swap and I'm super happy with it. But yea it's the same ratio as yours, It came out of an 08 coupe with the 5AT. Do you know if your diff has the 3 bolt drive shaft flange or the 4 bolt? I wonder if they're the same as the diffs in the coupe. That would be helpful to know for my right up, could widen the range of possible diffs to buy.
