Here in the midwest almost all the G sedans are X's.
Same here. There isn't another INFINITI dealership for 80 miles in either direction, which means my dealership is the go-to place for a population of about 1 million people, give or take. And they've mentioned a few times that the only 6MT Sedans they service are mine and a 2010 (who's also on the forum here).
In snows here in Upstate NY. A lot. Every G is an AWD car.
The x and xS sit slightly higher than RWD models. I think about 3/4" officially, however my '09 xS was more than an inch higher than my '11 S.
Sorry to go off-topic but this makes me feel better about putting on new springs. Can anybody else chime in and confirm? I have no interest in going with the slammed look, but my xS does look a bit high.
Looking good Robert^^^^^ are you still stateside? BTW any serious bites on your Z?

They do have a higher stance, the Swift springs seem to get the best reviews for a mild drop on the X models.
The tires are not over size diameter wize. They are 679mm where as the oem diameter is 680mm. So they are actually smaller. They are just wider by 10mm. U may think it sits higher because my driveway has a big slope. Here is another photo. As for the emblem.....you're right on. I'm going to fix that. I am not the original owner and carfax showed 1 accident with rear damage. Morons put the emblem up too high.
I think I'd stick to your plan of coupe 19s but unless you're really opposed to a staggered fit I'd go w/ the staggered 19s (much easier to find a set that way) and run 245/40/19 and 285/35/19 tires. Your diameters will be less than 1% different so your AWD, Traction control and speedometer will be in range and you'll have a well planted aggressive look. Would look best w/ a Swift drop or coilovers though. I'd stay away from that wheel style you posted, doesn't really enhance the look of your otherwise clean G.

Thanks for the good advice man. I'll look for some Swift springs in the classifieds. I never considered staggered but I guess if you keep the diameters very close it will work just fine. I am satisfied right now with my car and will probably wait til Xmas bonus time for a 19's to purchase. And ya, I was thinking the same thing on my friends 20's. They don't look like they belong on a G. More like a 300 . Here is one more pic of the look I have now. Really liking the Tanabes btw!
