That looks great on Lakeshore Slate!

The Z rims are 19", and your Journey wheels were 17", is that right? In these before/after pics, the Z rims look like they fit so much better. Although I was under the impression that those rims poked, that pic looks good to me.

You are correct. The factory Journey are 17" and the Z are 19"

The rear pokes out a little bit but I think when I lower it it'll look ok.

The front could use a spacer!

Ouch. It sure does. Are those staggered? If so, perhaps if you had a matched set of front rims.

Either way, it looks better than the 17" Journey wheels. Congrats.

On a side note... LS is by and far the best color ever from Infiniti. Love it.

They are 245F & 275R. 19x9 & 19X10. They are staggered. I think the brand of tire might have something to do with it. Ive seen guys running 295s but not sure what their offset is. Ill rock em for now, maybe go to a 265 tire later if i need to!

Agreed. Close-ups of those brake would be nice, too. StopTechs? Custom paint? Those rims look so good with that brake setup. Normally I'm not fond of black wheels or chrome lips, and yet... wow. Beautiful.

That is a nice compromise if you want to keep some chrome, should be simple, just follow my trim DIY and just wrap the lower window rail trim. Should take about 20 minutes since those are the easiest pieces to wrap and cost about $20

I'm on coilovers, when I put the wheels up w/o tires and jacked up they looked about the same. My wheel is 9.5"et12 with 235/35 and they fit like a glove.

Thanks, Newt. Great write-up, as always.

Just now, I experimented with some electrical tape over the belt-line trim *only*, in order to gauge how it would look on my Moonlight White Sedan. And I love it. I'm going to do this little mod. Just ordered the vinyl.

+1 for Schulminator.

To each there own doesn't mean their own is right. I'm reading the thread "Show off your sedans!" Which means even my fat tires can be criticized as much as the stupid stretch tire. And I don't like the stretch tire therefore I don't read/post in the stretch tire thread.
