Yeah, I don't get the appeal of blue exhaust tips. Same for the painted OEM wheels. I suppose if you went full-on black (tint, window trim, tails), then maybe the tips and wheels would work better. But probably not.
Why did you pain the center caps? And I swear it looks like you painted your lug nuts, too. If you left the caps and lug-nuts chrome, then the wheels wouldn't look like someone went after them with a rattle can.

Haha, i know what you guys mean. when i was first shopping around for an exhaust i was gonna order the burnt tips, but the one they had was all scratched up and **** so they offered me an upgrade to the tecnos for no extra price. and believe me, i thought it was gonna look like **** too but when i put it on it looks so unique and better in person! would never regret buying it haha. and surprisingly, i also get a lot of compliments on it, people say its unique cause ive never seen a car on the road with a blue exhaust... its just really different and its not too bad on the eye for most people. as for the rims, im definitely swapping them for real rims like advans or vossens later on. just wanted a blacked out look with the low budget i have.
just my 0.02 thanks for sharing =D
Haha okay maybe not... What rims do you have? they look sick. i think i've seen a couple of pics of your G on instagram before. if im not mistaken, its your wifes lol
Problem with Vossens, DJ? Is there a particular model that has an issue, or is it the overall manufacturing quality that you have an opinion on?
Sup?
I personally haven't had an any issues since I've never owned a set but I've read and seen some pretty nasty things on them. From some respectable dealers as well.

Indeed it's hers. Yes, my wife is a savior after allowing my hands on her (the car, hehe). We swap our DD's often though, so it's all good.

A set of Vossen CV3 has been at the top of my list ever since I bought the car, and this is the first time I've run into a negative comment. Hmm.

Vossen CV3's are aight. I wouldnt spend that much money for them though. Like someone mentioned earlier, everyone is different. Just like how some of you don't like the colour of my exhaust tips, some people might not like your choice in rims. At the end of the day, just do whatever you wanna fking do!
The Forgeline CF1 is comparable in design to Vossen's CV3, but at $1400 each.
I realize everyone has different limits when it come to unneccesary mods like rims... Believe me, this blows past mine.
Take away forged vs cast because that is an unfair comparability. And with taken that away you take away pricing. Personally I think Vossen are overrated, overpriced, and over-hyped. They, like ADV.1, have a great PR dept which most people buy into. There are Vossen owners that do honestly like their wheels. But for the most part I think the majority of Vossen buyers are uninformed and purchased based on that is all they see. It's no different than those that own Japanese import cars and only buy Japanese produced wheels. If you take a look at both my cars you will see most of my parts are R&D and produce in the USA. That is because I know quality and willing to pay for it.
