Thoughts on cutting resonators? Q300.

I have an issue with one of the flex pipes on my Q300's. It's leaking of all things I confirmed tonight that it wasn't a gasket issue. Does anyone have any experience with either fixing the flex pipes? or just replacing the entire flex pipe + resonators all together, with straight piping? I'd image that it'd be loud...I just don't want "tingy". Cost?

Thanks all,
Eric
