On/Off button on Rear View Mirror
What purpose does this serve? If I turn it off it still works for garage/gate opener pre-sets and still shows the direction I'm heading in the corner. Does anyone know the reasoning for turning it on or off?

Agree, Same as all other auto dim mirrors with on/off button
Don't have the compass in the mirror, but I think the ones with the compass have an "N" button, that will turn the compass on and off.

Auto dim switch only. Great feature at night especially when rigs and SUVs are behind you, otherwise useless during daytime driving especially if your windows are tinted.
