The volvo S60 type R looks very nice but let's be honest its just not as good or cool as the S4 and costs almost as much. I'd take a 335 over an S60R actually.
In canada there is a huge price gap between the volvo and s60, plus the volvo i can deal 3000$ off the msrp. 335 also more expensive with same equpment and real leather ( evem with fake leather)

What pot are you smoking? If you were not in a cave for the last few years, you know that Honda was in a downward sliding faster than Toyota. Look at this data, it is from 2009 but it tells you something, and don't forget G consists more than 60% of all Infiniti sales. The good thing is that you can grab some amazing deals if you buy TL right now, so go ahead if you like it. It is a nice ride indeed, but it is NO G37, period.

AUGUST TOTALS & YEAR-TO-DATE
Lexus: 22,892 / 131,469
Infiniti: 9,625 / 69,369
Acura: 7,732 / 53,276

Compare to G is Acura's wishful thinking, as they are not in the same league at all. SH-AWD helps a little with all the computer assistance, but it is still a nose heavy front drive car in nature. The G's true competitor is always BMW 3 if you read car magazines at all.

Acura as a whole sells more units than Infiniti.

As of end of month for November '11 Acura is at 110,170 units.

If you want I'll pull sales numbers from years past.

As per wikicars http://wikicars.org/en/Acura_TL#Competitors

A4, 3er, G, etc

As per Acura's website 2012 Acura TL | Compare Vehicles - Select Competitors | Acura.com

The 3er, ES350, and G37 show up.

We're done.

Didn't even hear about the GS350 redesign until your post. I don't think it's ugly at all. Looks pretty cool actually:

You can jump on the TL bandwagon all you want. Just use the number from the link you gave, let alone the G is unquestionable a whole lot better driver's car then the TL was and will ever be. Your number is not going to help to make Honda looks better, they are going down fast if no significant changes, end of story.

"The TL performance luxury sedan closely followed the TSX in sales with 2,412 units sold, down 4.8 percent."

"With sales of 3,623, the Infiniti G Sedan had an increase of 26.9 percent for the month, its best November since 2007."

Did I ever say the TL was a better driver's car? Did I ever say the 3er was not a competitor?

So now you're disputing the fact that Acura sells more units than Infiniti despite the links provided?

You jumped on this guy's thread because he purchased a TL, calling it a downgrade, blah blah blah. STFU and leave. Rain on someone else's parade.

Sorry but the front on this picture seems less ugly due to point of vue of this photo.

You have demonstrated poor debating skill with reading comprehension deficiency, and obviously anger management problem. If you can not express your point properly without name calling, just crawl back to your little cave. Sorry for raining on your parade dude, this will be my last reply to you.

The side profile looks nice, similar to the last generation GS (which IMO was the best looking Lexus ever). This new versions' grill looks like it got squeezed by the "jaws of life". Don't know why the front grill area is something so many car builders totally botch. Mitsubishi had some decent looking front ends until about 2005 then went nuts, Acura grill designers lost their mind a few years ago, the current Lincoln fronts are a nightmare
of bars & chrome. Mercedes, BMW, Infiniti and a small handful of others seem to be the only ones that have a clue. Audi grills have grown on me since I really like their lineup of cars and their LEDs are the only ones that look bad as$ IMO, but the grill is quite dominating on them.

I dont understand all the hate. This guy posted on an infiniti board saying he was temporarily moving to another car. He knew there was going to be backlash, but I'm glad he thought this was a place where we could have rational discussion about cars without being asses. There's no need to trash him, I respect his choice and its clear he's happy so why not let him be?

We can ask him why he changed it up and what he likes/dislikes about his car but we don't need to get in an infiniti-acura flame war. I'm no mod but that's my 2 pesos
