A lot of people mentioned they like the handling and driving experience. I guess I'm the odd ball because it's one of my dislikes. But I guess coming from European cars (Audi and BMW), I'm used to the superior handling and driving experience and is a little disappointed with the G. It's not bad, but not to my liking either. I also hate all the rattles and squeaks from the interior and lack of low end torque. Other than that, I like the looks, the value of the car, and overall reliability. Reliability being the main reason I bought this car.

LOL I don't actually use my cup holders, ever, either.

Like: Aesthetics + the fact that it's MT!
Dislike: Paint, Gearbox, Non-Linear Acceleration, Lack of TQ

You must be joking. My 2012 G37x has the nicest interior in $40K price range, hands down. It would be hard pressed to find any hard plastics. Most surfaces are covered by nice luxurious fabrics. And yes, I have the maple wood option.

Your 2012 probably doesnt do this every time it drops below 45 degrees either and still hasnt been fixed by multiple dealers in over a year

I havre a 2010 G37 and my main gripe is that there is no opening on the steering wheel at the 6 o'clock position. I have always placed my hand there in the past, and I really miss it now. No, I don't place my hands at 10 and 2 o'clock positions, yuck.

Rear seat, middle armrest. Fold it down, sit on right side of it. Note the little flap on the side of the arm rest. Open it up.

I think the word some is an understatement. Listen from 1:20 to the end youll get the picture; I deal with that every day its a joke. This is totally unacceptable in a $40k plus car. My girlfriends $15k Mazda3 doesnt have ANY rattles/taps/noise other than the road. Its such a turn off to the point I probably wont buy another Infiniti especially after dealing with consumer affairs about this, but thats another issue. My point is that for a luxury car, the interior build quality is really below Infiniti's competitors in my experience at least. Newer G's may be different but i'm not satisfied at all with mine other than the way it drives/looks.

I just got my g37 (like two days ago) and I'm surprised no has complainted about the mirror finish around the windows. I hate that finish more than ANYTHING on my car.

Or maybe its my fault maybe I don't know to clean it properly. But it seems to just trap oils from my fingers and I can't get the "marks" to go away.

But likes I like the 7speed. I like the power (for what it is).
