not that the MT is hard to drive but it seems clunky (not as smooth as it could be). you have to learn the rhythm at different speeds and gears.
one thing i noticed, going from 4th to 5th gears, that the amount of left to right movement varies (not consistent). on some shifts it feels tight (left to right) and on some shifts it feels like im going from 2nd to 5th lol (but actually 4th to 5th).

I don't know exactly what you mean you can't make a phone call using navigation display. You can select a preprogrammed number in the vehicle phonebook. You can voice dial a downloaded contact. You can voice dial any number. You probably should not be able to dial a number on the display though. That would be akin to texting.
Voice dial number should work. But I don't like to talking to my car.

I bought stainless steel starbacks cups that fit together in the cup holder so the cup holder is now a non issue for me. I don't like the seat belts in the coupe. I love the way my G drives. I feel very in touch with the road. I love the way the suspension is stiff yet comfortable. When I drive it after the Z its like I just moved up in the world.

Im an overweight soda sipping american and I have no problem with the 3 upholders within reach of my driver seat. How many more do you need? Also, unless you chubbers are trying to secure a 96oz big gulp, Im not sure where these complaints are coming from?

If you have a sedan, try put a opened can of soda in the rear cup holder. Drive to somewhere. Come back and let us know your experience. You will be shocked!

The only dislikes I have are very minor.
The smart key is too easy to activate accidentally in my pocket.
Cup holders in sedan too close together to accommodate 2 normal size travel mugs.
No compass in mirror.
I would prefer DRL.
Headrest in contact with back of my head. I realize that all newer cars have it this way, some worse then others. I'm slowly getting use to it. At least the G has the option of removing them or turning them backwards, which I do occasionally.
Likes:
Reliability (I have had zero problems in 17,000 miles)
Handling
Power
Quiet cabin
Adequate room for people and luggage for my long trips
7 speed auto transmission
Body style
Braking power
Fuel mileage on my highway trips
Spare tire.
Ease of periodic maintenance.
Price.
I have read a lot of complaints about the 7 speed auto, but I have experienced none of the problems in 17,000 miles of driving.
I have also read a lot of complaints about the paint durability.
I had a clear bra put on before the car was one week old, so my G37, in GS, still looks as good as the day I bought it.

What ever you put on the rear cup holder, it will fall out when you drive. My son has to hold his drink when I drive. What were they thinking when they designed it???
