Windsheild wiper "arc" scratch on new (under 2500 miles) G37???

My 2011 G37 Sedan now has a semi-circle scratch on the passenger side from the wiper blades. I only have about 2500 miles on the car and have used the wipers once or twice in the rain.

I noticed it after receiving my car back from the dealer for it's first service (and the comp car wash). I pointed this out to them after I noticed it a few days later, and was basically told, nothing they can do.

Has anyone else experienced this? I have never in my life had a wiper scratch on a car and it seems very strange a car with good wiper blades would have this happen.

Is the glass softer? Is there an issue with the wiper blade?

I had this happen on a brand new Acura I bought about seven years ago. A small rock got caught in the wiper blade during a rain storm and created a highly visible "arc" scratch. I tried to polish out the scratch with windshield polish....looked great until I drove the car at night when the folly of my attempt became evident......I had introduced about 1000 "star-burst" small scratches. Ended up replacing the windshield....on my dime. *hit happens.....sorry.

Wow , Really !. I have the exact same thing on my 2011 sedan. About 800 miles i finally used the wipers.washed it a day later and found a nice scratch about an inch in from the end of the passenger blade. It goes all the way up.
Deep enough that it would cost a few hundred to get it repaired. It catches if i run my fingernail across it.
It's a lease and out of my view so i left it alone.

Can't believe it, I noticed the same thing on mine the next day. Once you pick it up you own it.

Had the exact same issue, but I noticed it in the first week. Brought it up to the dealer and luckily the sales guy I worked with pushed to have the glass replaced with his GM. Only downside was it would not be factory glass, I opted to do it anyway.
