Betcha never saw this video. FYI for ya.
how 335i combat that overheat issue is a question. at least to many people that is just . poor.
That video was hilarious. I bet BMW still cringes when they see it. When it died you could almost sense the driver wanted to say. "nice car, but for for love of god, lease don't buy and make sure that the service dep't has alot of good reading material in thier waiting area because you'll be visiting the dealer often".

like many ppl said, the pricing are not comparable, yah why dont we compare M3 vs G?
Pricing is comparable, its just that you don't acknowledge it. (I didn't say equipment was comparable, I said price.) 0-60 is independent of equipment.

What about those videos that show where the g goes into limp mode because the tranny oil overheats when the car is tracked? Should we dig some of those up?

Besides neither of these are track cars and you can't treat them as such. Both of them have issues if you attempt to have many consecutive hot laps.

I don't know the oil cooler is not on the list of standard equipment for any model as far as I can tell.

So, what you are saying is, don't be fair and compare similarly equipped cars, be biased, bmw fanboys, victims of the "ultimate driving machine' marketing hype, and compare a fully loaded g37s 6mt to a stripped down 335i(it doesn't even have real leather btw)?

I agree, the price is comparable.

0-60:
The fastest I've seen a 335i tested was 5.1
The slowest I've seen a g37 tested was 5.4

What is it that we are arguing here? Because to me it looks like performance is 'comparable' (to use one of your terms) too.

If you haven't owned the car, you shouldn't make statements that you're unsure of:

Oil cooler in the passenger side front bumper area

You might want to check out the 7AT thread here.

Many of us visited the dealership multiple times a year to fix a single issue and it's never been fixed.
Every car has it's own problem.

We all love the G in this forum. Making fun of other manufacturers won't make Infiniti any better.

TBH I would not buy any European cars. I would only lease them.

Not that it matters that much to the original point, but you don't wait in a BMW waiting room for your broken down car.

You hop into a 328i loaner and you're on your way.

I do get a loaner from Infiniti for the time it's in the shop.
But their loaners smell like ****.
