Hello everyone,
Many of you might remember i posted pics here couple of months ago of my G after the hailstorm. Well i got everything fixed(after 4 trips). I have a new problem now. Occasionally, there is a sound when accelerating from stop. It is hard to describe the sound. Its sounds like a jackhammer. Its sounds just like the metal sound in this video Jackhammering concrete - YouTube . I dont see how they could have damaged anything. Any ideas or prior experiences?

record the actual sound when it does happen.

Does it really sound that loud? If not may be some valve lifters tapping. Bring it back.

Would help to have a sound clip as mentioned above, but I'd definitely take it back. Are you still under warranty?

i haven't forgotten. its just that when i'm ready to record, everything is normal. I am not even sure if the mic will be able to pick up the sound.
