Anyone else ever drop a credit card between the gap of the seat and center console? I literally pushed my hand as far down as I could and couldn't grab it

Anybody have a solid method for grabbing lost/dropped items? I've dropped my phone in the gap a few times, but was much easier to fish out.

i hate when stuff like this happens! i have fat hands unfortunately. i usually have my gf pull things out for me. one time i used a leaf blower to blow out a few dollars i dropped. i dont know if you're willing to have a leaf blower in your car (i used an electric one)

 

Slide the seat all the way forward and it might be reachable from the rear. That crack is a land of no return.

If you have an air compressor, just blow it out. I can usually fish things out with my fat fingers, but I dropped a $20 bill once and had to break out the compressor to get it.

 

i just shove my hand in (lol) -- or scoot the chair all the way up.

 

Air compressor is my choice

Havent even attempted to get the card out, but I guess its safer for me to leave it in the "crack of doom" vs. in my wallet where I can do some REAL damage with it

 

Happens all too often. Once in a drive thru and couldnt get to it. I was in full on panic mode.

 

Our '03 G was even worse. No hands could fit in there. A stiff wire was needed to fish anything out. So things have actually improved since the first gen.

i found the best method is putting the seat all the way up in height, and all the way forward, its the only way my hand fits when my phone slides down there

 

I forget where but I heard people put a black towel in between the seat and the console as a sort of catch-all
