This and the post about "would have gotten the coupe if it hadn't been for the baby" remind me of a post I saw elsewhere, "I wouldn't have ended up with the baby if it hadn't been for the coupe".

 

On Monday the 12th I traded in my '08 Athens Blue S coupe for a '12 G37xS sedan. I couldn't be happier. The AWD is amazing and I love having 4 doors. Not to mention the sedan being faster than the coupe.

 

I prefer the practicality of a sedan now. Plus I have dogs. Hard to stuff two furry huskies in the back seat.

 

I traded a Jeep GC in for a 2010 G37 sedan.
It is used mostly for my highway trips. I wanted some thing more fun to drive on my long trips, but needed the extra room of the sedan, for luggage,people,etc.
I think it's ridiculous for owner's to say they got the sedan because it's faster then the coupe. The difference would be so little as to be almost undetectable.

These sedan versus coupe threads are ridiculous. OK, I’ll play along. Here are the reasons I chose a coupe:

• Sedan owners mistakenly want a bigger car to impress their friends.
• Sedan owners are afraid they’re too old for a coupe.
• Sedan owners are too fat to fit into a coupe.
• Male Sedan owners’ wives told them no way would they allow them to get a sports car.
• Sedan owners really wanted a coupe but were afraid to be that bold.

 

^Meh, weak reasons. I am a 20 year old male and if the car is offered in a sedan, i'll get that. I just don't like impractical cars lol.
