Has anyone tried this front end conversion yet?

da mayor, whenever u get a chance could you measure the distance of the windshield on both cars relative to the starting points of the fenders there. If it is the same distance, there is a possibility of it working. Obviously the rear would prob need some work to look right and that isnt a problem. In order to do the entire front end you will need the fenders, hood, headlights, rad support, front bumper, the grills, fender walls, and the under guard if u want. its just my curiousity playing because I would have to play with the numbers to do it in comparison to buying a new g37 to see if the costs would be the same as buying a m36. like i said, my curiosity with it has been plaguing me. If I get a new job that pays me the money I should be making I might do the upgrade to the m36xs but I also would have to do research as to the suspension upgrades(if any) to the m36x because I wouldn't want to be stuck with having only the choice of bags or just springs. I would also prefer just to do the conversion because I would think it might net less, who knows.
the reason I ask for the measurements is because if those match, it should work. an example of that can be the 01-03 and 04-05 Honda Civics(I owned one previous, well I still do but its dead). You can swap out the entire front end from either car along with the rad support and it works. Same can be said for the all the nissan 240's with other counterparts.

Its impossible, you could try but i doubt it. You'd be wasting your time and money, its gonna cost you more to mod this into a look alike M then getting an actual M. Might as well save up and then get a M.

Agreed. To each their own, but this seems ridiculous. The time, money, and headache of attempting this would not outweigh the difference in cost between the two models. The width difference between the two is enough to end that daydream. The M also is going to have a larger, more refined interior. Plus, you also have the option of going with the bigger V8. Seems like a no-brainer to me.
