I think it has to do with the market, in japan, they have all-around view camera in addition to front and back parking sensors.
To those that says asian can't drive, it's the asian mom's in north america. If you have been to any asian city, you will know, it is scary the way they drive

the ones sold in the middle east got them sensors too in the front, i can totally understand cause people lack pretty much all driving skills here lol

every road and parking space are a tight fit in asia...thats why is better to have them...i am from hong kong...and the parking space are so tight that you need to move back and forth alot of time to get into a parking stall or get out of the parking stall...you need every inch to make space avalible

i want to see some of you racist people drive in asia or other part of the world beside north america...i think that you guys will take forever to even make a turn into big roads or even change lanes..

A general best practice in Asia is to look both ways for traffic when turning onto a one way street.
The amount of competition and import duties makes manufacturers tack on as many extras as possible. To this day, my Thai Camry had the most features out of any car that I have ever driven.
