What is an accelerator position reset?
On my car, all the power feels like it's in the first 1/4 of the pedal movement. It would be nice (I think) to spread that out a bit...

Accelerator Pedal Released Position Learning DESCRIPTION Accelerator Pedal Released Position Learning is an operation to learn the fully released position of the accelerator pedal by monitoring the accelerator pedal position sensor output signal. It must be performed each time harness connector of accelerator pedal position sensor or ECM is disconnected.
OPERATION PROCEDURE 1. Make sure that accelerator pedal is fully released. 2. Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 2 seconds. 3. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds. 4. Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 2 seconds. 5. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.

Also the loaner was not and X. It was a journey with 17s.

Ya know.. Ive had my car for 700 miles and it feels heavy on hot days.. I have to say... This car heats up fast! My bmer took about a solid 5 minutes og hiway driving for it to heat up.. This car is hot just by pulling down my block.

Those tires are an inch larger diameter (you had me scratching my head when you said 5 inches, lol) and you speedo will be 2mph slower at 60 mph. It's over 3% difference from the stock size so you may run into Traction control & ABS issues, plus your speedo error.
I'd definitely raise some hell at the tire shop, they shouldn't be selling you tires over 3% different +/- unless you specifically request it.
