Motordyne ART pipes versus Fast Intentions High Flow Cats?

Which would you choose, Motordyne ART pipes or Fast Intentions High Flow Cats? Why? I am keeping the stock exhaust on my 2011 G37 Sedan and my preference is HFCs over Test Pipes. I think Test Pipes would be okay but I'm concerned about some of the side effects, like the odor and sound. BTW is the odor really that bad on NA G37s?

So leaving out the fact that the Motordyne ART pipes and the Fast Intentions High Flow Cats are not even the same thing, what would you choose if your goal was performance and better sound (not looking for loud or obnoxious)?

Thanks guys.

Thanks Blackjack. Any specific reason? Is the odor that big of a deal?

^ actually if you go with ART pipes they are on a whole other level compared to TPs and HFCs the gains they give over both of them especially down low is unreal, you get about ~20wtq and hp around 2400-2900 above any others, i did a LOT of research when i got the arts and they really are worth the $$ and the sound is actually same if not less than any HFCs, the ONLY downside would be smell which is objective to the owner.

Also take into account whether you have yearly emission inspections or not in your state since TPs would be illegal for sure and HFCs illegal in CA.

You'll only smell the ART's at a stop light with the right wind. I think it smells good... like a 2 stroke motor

Thanks guys. Another question... I am going to place an order tonight and need some help before I do.

Cost aside, would you purchase Berk's HFC's and Cat-Back Exhaust (they are coming out with exhaust very soon for G37) -OR- Fast Intentions HFC's and Cat-Back Exhaust?

Thanks again for the help.

FI for sure! their craftsmanship is second to none, nothing against BERK they are very trusted brand but FI is tad better imo.

I'm going ART all the way , reviews are addictive and baddass! But FI Vs Berk lol no comparison FI ll the way there system is badass I owned it and can vouch for them, pair it up w there FI HFC and the sound is sweet and unreal. If I went with Any other set-up it's Fast Int hands down they rock and I miss the Catback  But but my Tanabe kicks *** and paired up w ART RTP it's gonna be so exotic and powerful 

I'm 100% getting the FI Resonated HFCs, the exhaust is still up in the air right now. I've been researching this a lot and have an idea of what I want, but I am really interested to know what you guys think. I'm going to add some exhausts to the mix, what is your top choice?

Fast Intentions vs. ARK GRIP vs. BERK vs. Motordyne vs. Tanabe?

Thanks Guys.

I don't care about staying legal or not, I prefer HFCs over test pipes. Going back to the exhaust, I'm set to get the Fast Intentions Cat-Back Exhaust over ARK GRIP, BERK, Motordyne and Tanabe. Berk is a close second, they have a new G37 Exhaust coming out and sounds real good. From an aesthetics standpoint I think Tanabe is pretty slick, but I'm going Fast Intentions all the way, HFCs and Exhaust.

I have the Fast intentions Catback, and had the first set of Resonated HFC for the sedan made and installed on my car. i think the sound is absolutely perfect. the coupe is a 2.5" diameter, sedan is 2.25" vids are farther down in my post.

FI RHFC's for the win! There's not many reviews on them on 37....but look over on the 370 site. The Z's are ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL OVER THEM!!!!!!!

I literally just called Tony, will be ordering my RHFC's either tomorrow or Monday.

I have an '11 G37 Sedan as well and I just had the FI catback installed last night. I haven't had a chance to really open it up due to all this rain in the Northeast. However, after a very wet, 15 minute highway drive home from the shop I will say that I am VERY happy. FWIW, I have R2C intakes and the FI CBE replaced a Tanabe ABE. Now my sedan definitely sounds more like my old '08 G37 coupe with an aftermarket CBE.

You will not be disappointed with Fast Intentions nor the service you get from Tony.
