Muffler Delete Help!!

Hey, so im new to this and all and i know when people hate when the same thing is posted several times, i tried searching on the forum for the same question but i couldnt find anything.

I was wondering how a muffler delete would sound on a 2011 G37 sedan. i recently got myself a G and want to increase the sound of the classic infiniti exhaust. i heard that removing the muffler helps increase that sound. is that true? im on a budget so thats why im thinking of doing this. any suggestions??

Yes.. by all means take a sawzall to a brand new car because you don't want to spend any money on an exhaust system.... it will sound great!!

You also need to de-badge your car so a lot of the public wont know what brand car is putting out such a cheap, crappy sound.

You bought a $40k car and you're worried about your budget? You could probably get a cheap ebay axle back (though I highly oppose that idea) and it would sound better than removing your mufflers. Leave the fart cans to riced out Civics.

If you want to go the cheap route then do a axel back exhaust it doesnt have to be the tanabe. You can just remove the stock mufflers and have an exhaust shop weld two pipes with any tip you want. It would be around 50-100 max (Depending on the shop and tips you choose) and help with sound. Also sound better than removing it completely and if you get sick of it then you can put your old mufflers back on without any problems. It will give you a deep throttle sound. Has anyone done this?

Uhh Tanabe is definitely not cheap. Depending on where you buy, they'll range anywhere from $750-900. Check out the Megan Racing axle back. Sounds pretty good for ~$450. It's been on back order for a while though so not sure it's in stock yet. I went ahead and ordered the Tanabes because they sound amazing. And depending on how loud just the mufflers are, I might or might not get the Y, mid pipe, and/or HFC.
