Update
Hey everyone, thanks for the empathy.
Today is a far better day, for me, than yesterday. I had to make a trip back to Guelph Infiniti to return the spare key for the G35X (my wife had it with her on her business trip).
Anyway, I showed the dealer the scratch and to my delight he said "don't worry about it, CARSTAR owes me a favour". My car goes in next Wednesday to be painted...gratis!
It would have bugged the **** out of me if I didnt get it done right.

My Shout Out for Guelph Infiniti
In the 4 years I've been a customer of Guelph Infiniti they have provided the most amazing service.
On my 07 G35X they did the following, N/C:
1. Front brake TSB for judder ('warping'). When the judder returned within a year they completely replaced the rotors and pads...3.5 years into my ownership.
2. They replace the entire steering column because it would move a little bit after it mechanically set into place.
3. Replace the chrome front grille. Some people have luck with this at their Infiniti dealership, most do not.
4. One week before I decided to get the G37S 6MT Sedan they approved the replacement of the door switch bezels, the ones where the paint peels off to easy.
These are all things that a company like Infiniti should do for it's customers but as many of us are all to aware, many of them just don't 'get it'.
Thank you Guelph Infiniti, for making things right!

There is not much you can do about door dings cause a lot of people are just careless. Vandalism is a whole other ballgame where I cannot understand the mentality.

Justice was served
I hate scumb bag kids - they are everywhere. When I had my Acura, i was parked in from of my GFs house in a really really rich town. I caught some spolied little skater kid riding his board down a hill straight at my car. He jumps off the board onto the hood, runs over the top and down the trunk, and jumps on his board on the other end. Impressive - but totally ****ed my car with dents and scratches. Total lack of respect.
I caught up to him - he didnt see me coming. I pulled him off his board, and confronted him. He wasnt sorry so i took a large landscaping rock which must have been 100+lbs and picked it up and slammed it on his board - cracking it and ruining the struts. Then i walked him up to his house and told his parents what i caught himn doing and that he broke his board in the process. They paid me in cash.

When I go to meets I have to assume we are all there to appreciate. That's just so wrong.
