How important is a sun/moonroof to you?
I found a good deal on a G but it doesnt come with a sunroof since its a base and not a journey. Is a sunroof that important to you? how often do you use urs if you have one? do you think its more aesthetically pleasing? is it a must have for you?

I would say the other equipment that comes with the journey is more important than the sunroof. That being said it would depend on where I lived. I use mine all the time when the weather is nice. If windows are down sunroof is open.

Here's the thing - the sunroof doesn't matter, what matters is you get the car you want vs. one you don't. If you're happy with the options, then go for it - if you're debating about the sunroof, hold out until you can find the model - color - options YOU want. Don't worry about status etc.

sunroof is a plus for me. niceto have it open with the windows down in the summer... gives the illusion that you have more space or that your drive a vert. also nice if you plan to tint your windows; when the fuzz roll by you just open the sun roof to let a lot of light in.

I wouldn't get a car without a sunroof. To me it's important. My son just got a new car and he had a choice of sync or sunroof. He chose sunroof.
But you have to be get the car you want. Just like any other option in the car, some people find certain options a must have and others could care less. For instance, I could live without the dual climate control and if I could have saved money by not having one I would have.
The nav this time around was a must have, but I know others don't want any part of it. G/L.

I enjoy the sunroof in the spring and fall. I like how I can open it on the way home from work, and leave it open while it's in the garage overnight, and enjoy the fresh air on the way to work, where I close it when locking it up. It's also nice to pop it open with the windows cracked on a hot day, but I wouldn't do that in a crime/risk area.
I agree though, it was the package deal that sold me on the Journey, but mostly the Premium package. I wouldn't have the car without those options.
